About Us
Our Story
Matthew & Marion Peake (Husband & Wife) started this organization as a means of helping those in need. For many years they faced great adversity struggling to make ends meet and wondering if
there would be a warm plate of food at the end of each day. They started with just a simple blessing with their very last one hundred rand note, preparing a meal and serving a family in need. It was here that they realized that they couldn’t sit by and watch families fall apart due to lack, so even though they were in lack they stood up and said they’ll be the change they said “yes Lord”.
So for the past seven years, they’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of individuals, families & children in need. They have clothed, fed and even house those who have had nothing, around three years ago Marion Peake was diagnosed with triple receptor breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy, it was here in the midst of great adversity that a new vision was birthed between Marion & her husband Matthew Peake. They began taking children in need, this was initiated by Marion, saying that while she lays in bed sick and on chemo therapy “why not sow love into a child who has no family”.
And since 2018 Matthew & Marion have had the gift of rescuing more than four hundred vulnerable children in need. They have housed them, clothed them, Fed them & even educated them but the greatest of all these has been to just love on these beautiful children in need.
They have lived a life of faith and have solely relied on the generosity of local businesses & donors to survive & help those in need. They have a passion to serve the broken hearted & to work within the communities they help. But their real passion is to save the voiceless those children faced with great adversity such as poverty, neglect, abuse & abandonment this is where they find the face of God in the midst of the brokenness they see lives restored, broken hearts healed and children finding their joy, that once was stolen.
